What Information Should You Send for a Custom Gift Packaging Quotation?

When buyers ask for custom gift packaging, the quotation can be much more accurate if the main project details are clear from the beginning. This is especially important for paper gift bags, gift paper boxes and gift wrapping paper, because material, printing, structure and packing method can all affect the final price.
The following checklist can help brands, retailers, importers and packaging buyers prepare useful information before requesting a quote from a factory.
Why clear quotation details matter
A packaging quotation is not only based on size. The supplier also needs to understand how the product will be used, what level of presentation is required, whether the packaging needs to match an existing brand style, and how the goods will be packed for shipment.
1. Product type and application
Start with the product type you need: paper gift bags, gift paper boxes, gift wrapping paper, or a matching packaging set. Then explain the application, such as retail gifts, cosmetics, jewelry, clothing, food packaging, holiday promotion or private label packaging.
2. Size, material and structure
